Blue Water Musician's Network is a group of civic minded musicians and those interested in  the promotion of family friendly music in the Blue Water Area with a goal of extending the cultural tourism season for the financial benefit of the local area, it's residents, it's businesses and it's organizations.  Does this sound like a place for you?  Then consider joining our membership today and passing the word on to like minded family and friends.

Sponsored Events
Blue Water Acoustic Cafe
Held the 4th Saturday of October through March at Studio 1219 in the classroom.  It's an Ourselves "Tourist in your Home Tome 2006" open mic starting at 7 PM with sign up starting at 6:30 PM.

Old Time Jam
Held the last Friday of each month for those who would like to learn and share old time music.  So dust off that fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar or dulcimers and come join us at 7 PM in the class room at Studio 1219.

Blue Water Music Review
Held the day after Thanksgiving this fun event features some of the talent that makes up the Blue Water Musician's Network.  Join us at McMorran Place Auditorium at 7 PM.

Blue Water Music Festival
Held the first Saturday in August from 10 AM until 10 PM along the Desmond Landing beside the scenic St. Clair River.  This festival features music from all genres.  From Jazz to Blues, Folk to Big Band, Rock to Blue Grass, along with local artist displays and lets not forget the large variety of food vendors.  Bring your instruments and take in one of the many workshops or stop by the dance hall and join in the fun, can't dance or clog, we have workshops for that too!

Who Can Join?
Musician's Network is open to anyone with an interest in music.  Whether you're a professional musician, just enjoy playing around a campfire or can't carry a note in a bushel basket we jave a place just right for you to help make a difference in the Blue Water and Surrounding Area and have fun doing it.

We offer several levels of membership so you are able to pick the one that's just right for you.
Student: $25.00
This is for a full time student.

Individual: $35.00
This is a basic membership.

Couple: $50.00
This gives couples a break and encourages couples to get involved in something they can share while giving back to the Blue Water Area.

Organization: $100.00
This level is geared towards entire bands and other non-profits who want to help support the Blue Water Musician's Network's mission.

Patron: $250.00
This is designed for people who believe in our mission but do not have time to join in the daily work.

Corporate: $1,000.00
This level gets your Corporate Logo in all publications that BWMN sponsors all year long letting the community know you are helping pave the family friendly cultural tourism movement.
