Slackfest 2001

Slackfest was an all day free concert in Port Huron, Michigan at "Sadat's House" on June 23, 2001. I only filmed three of the many bands that performed that day. I wish I could have filmed more of them. It was great to see such young talent gathered together.
    The bands I filmed were "Inner Voice", "Pejorative" and "Impalement". All local Port Huron area bands. If you have heard any of these bands or, just want to hear some fresh, young music, I think you'll enjoy this.
    I am going to try and get this on the local cable access channel soon. Check here or on the bands websites for information.
     It was digitally recorded using a Canon GL1 camera and a camera mounted Audio-Technica AT-822 stereo microphone. It was digitally mastered and edited using Studio DV software. The movie runs 55 minutes and you will receive it recorded on a Maxell Professional 60 minute video tape with a plastic case and artwork.
